tired...

I should be writing a paper right now, but I am tired. Tired of researching, tired of writing on a concept that seems pretty straight forward, tired of...well, you get the idea. I should be very thankful that I have this opportunity to write, to study, to research...and I am, it is just difficult to get something done that you have little interest in. It is like drudgery, offensive to my mind, and reframing my perception of the task is almost as equally oppressive. Yep. I am tired. What does Scripture say...don't give up doing good....would this apply here? Persevere, knowing your hard work will be rewarded?? (I am pretty sure I took that one out of context...) Anyhow, though I am tired, I will persevere...tomorrow morning...after my devotions...and a coffee...and a shower...and after I walk the dog...and feed the kids...and...this is not looking very promising...

Let the meaning of your work be obvious unless it is purely designed for your amusement...

I hope you get that paper over and done with I love the line "it is like drudgery, offensive to my mind"! Hopefully a night's sleep will make it seem less burdensome.

And I enjoyed the pink Panther winking at me there.

Misti, hope you get it done. I'm working on a major paper too... can't seem to make it a priority even though it is. Somebody has reminded me of Hebrews 12:11 to kick me to work on it.

Hey- and thanks for the feed link on your site. You've got some great content here. Keep er lit.

Welcome Ken!
Thanks for your encouragement. I, thankfully, did get my paper done, but not after coming to the suspicion that I may be a procrastination junkie...and of course, the first step to healing is admitting it....ahhh, I feel better already. Next step...ahh, I will get to it later, I have some blogging to do...

Come back lots...and I hope you conquer your paper too;)
