Sometimes Words are Not the Priority

Sometimes, words are not the priority. Sometimes it is enough just to be present. Sometimes, it is better to stay out of sight...Sometimes...

Now a man named Lazarus was sick. He was from Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha. This Mary, whose brother Lazarus now lay sick, was the same one who poured perfume on the Lord and wiped his feet with her hair. So the sisters sent word to Jesus, "Lord, the one you love is sick."

When he heard this, Jesus said, "This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God's glory so that God's Son may be glorified through it." Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. Yet when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where he was two more days.

Then he said to his disciples, "Let us go back to Judea." ~John 11:1-7

There are times when we think that we need to speak into a situation right away; however, there are those times when God is calling us to simply be present or he delays our presence and our words. It doesn't make sense to us and we desperately want to do things our way, but God has other plans...He has plans to make the most of the situation, to His Glory.

Trust God, seek out His instruction feverently, and be obedient. He will manifest great and mighty works...you'll see...
