It is not that I have given up,
It is not that I am afraid,
I wait upon the Lord.
I must be obedient to Him first,
I must trust His Word,
I look to Jesus for comfort.
The promises He made,
The truth of His love,
I hold on and let His Spirit carry me, guide me, hold me closer still.

I agree and feel the same, and the struggle gets hard, but on The Most High I rely on.
